In 2023, our Department was raised to a Research department by the University of Calicut. Our department is blessed with eminent faculty and hardworking students who produce remarkable results in the University examinations. Almost all of our students are employed in different areas. In 2007, we celebrated the Golden Jubilee of our department with various programmes. We keep a good company with our old students. An old student's Association for Mathematics (OSAM) is formed in connection with the Jubilee celebration. Most often we arrange International & National Seminars, Intercollegiate Quiz competitions, Exhibition etc. Our students find time to extend their service to poor people in the locality.
