Second Rank holder of Calicut University for B.Sc Zoology (1993) and have Master’s in Zoology with specialization in Aquaculture and Fishery Biology from Christ College, Irinjalakuda. Completed Doctoral studies in fish biodiversity of wetlands and effect of anaesthetics in live fish transportation from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Started career as a Guest Lecturer in this college, joined as Assistant Professor in 2008, served as Head of Dept for 12 years and currently awaiting for promotion as Associate Professor.  Have research paper publications in various national and international Journals and chapters in ISBN books.
