Environmental protection and Animal care
Every
year the ZOEA activities begin with the inauguration of the association by one
of the eminent personalities in the field of Zoology. All the students of the
present three batches of B.Sc. Zoology & two batches of M.Sc. Zoology and
the entire faculty are members of the ZOEA. A seminar on the current issues in
the field of Zoology is conducted on the Inauguration day by the resource
person.

and blood donation camps. 3.BMI
calculation for the department students 4.Different
surveys conducted by students 5.Awareness talks
by the faculty of the departments 6.Awareness talks
by the resource persons from concerned fields 7.Free medical
camps. 8.Museum
Exhibition in every year for the college students. 9.Inter
departmental environmental quiz in association with World Environmental Day. 10.Observation
of biologically significant days 11.Awareness
Programme on December 1st World AIDS Day. 12. Participation in Nature camps 13.Extension
activities at Thanal, a Mental Rehabilitation Centre for mental patients, Rajah
Hospital, Chavakkad. 14.Debates,
poster making competitions, collage making competitions, PPT competitions,
etc., are organized for students.
